1 April to 9 April 2023, Kochi

Day 1

From your location > Kochi (India) airport > Hotel check in (Le Meridien Kochi) at 2pm

Day 2

Morning yoga class > Opening Ceremony and Breakfast > Ayurvedic Center for Treatment and Spa

Ayurvedic treatment is one of the oldest traditional health care systems in India. Your Ayurvedic doctor and therapist will assess which treatments, oils and massage strokes best suit your body based on your dosha. The fundamental goal of Ayurvedic practice is to maintain your own innate doshic balance.

Day 3

Morning yoga class > Fort Kochi > Local market > San Toma Church > Chinese Fishing Net (Vasco Da Gama Square) > Sunset

Emerge yourself in cultural treasures after yoga class with Master Agung. Fort Kochi is famous for its Portuguese, British and Dutch colonial architectures and old European meals. The Chinese Fishing Net in the neighbourhood tells the story of the legendary Chinese explorer Zheng He and his legacy in the Indian lands.

Day 4

Morning yoga class > Kerala Backwater Boat Trip (optional)

What is more fascinating than cruising through the serene lakes of Kochi that are lined up with coconut trees to enjoy sights of local and migratory birds, local villages and more? That would be a morning yoga practice before this amazing eco-trip in the most visited backwaters of Kerala.

Day 5

Morning yoga class > Cherai Beach

Cherai beach is the longest beach in Kochi. Popular by the name of ‘Princess of the Arabian Sea’, it is best for relaxation with the picturesque view. You may spot dolphins if you are lucky enough. Treat yourself with adventure activities, fun rides, swimming and bird-watching there.

Day 6

Morning yoga class > Marari Beach > Qigong and exchange energy with elements in the nature

Marari beach is in a fishing village and is far from the noisy crowd and is detached from the world, which makes it ideal for yoga and qigong practicing.  The serene and untainted environment facilitates our energy exchange with elements of ether, air, fire, earth, and water. The beach is untouched by commercialization and you will enjoy an unrehearsed exploration to the surroundings in the area.

Day 7

Morning yoga class > Chottanikkara Bhagavathy Temple > Handicraft shopping > Kalaripayattu Performance

Chottanikkara Bhagavathy Temple is the famous Hindu temple whose presiding deity is the Hindu mother God Bhagavathy. This temple was constructed in the 10th century.  Kalaripayattu is believed to be the oldest surviving martial art in the world, with a history spanning over 3,000 years.

Day 8

Morning yoga class > Free time  > Closing Ceremony and Dinner

Day 9

Check out 11am > Kochi (India) airport / Part 2 starts

Trip Part 1 Hotel & Meal:

Hotel: Le Meridien Kochi or hotel with same star rating (9 days, 8 nights)

Meal Day 1: Dinner @ hotel

Meal Day 9: Breakfast @ hotel

Kerala is South India's most serenely beautiful state, its coastal strip defined by its layered landscape; almost 600 km of glorious Arabian Sea coast and beaches; a network of languid, glistening backwaters; and spice-and tea-covered hills. We will explore Kerala, a world away from the frenzy of the rest of India – its long, fascinating backstory illuminated by historically evocative cities like Kochi.
